Noriko from Diary of a Bookfiend and Kawther from The Villain Library have nominated me for this cute award! Thank you both so much, you are both amazing bloggers! Do check them out if you haven’t, and be prepared to get addicted.
What is the Sunshine Blogger Award?
The Sunshine Blogger Award is given to those who are creative, positive and inspiring, while spreading sunshine to the blogging community.
(So sweet!! Thank you!)
How Does It Work:
- Thank the person(s) who nominated you in a blog post and link back to their blog
- Answer the 11 questions sent by the person who nominated you
- Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions
- List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo on your post and/or on your blog.
The questions are :
What is your ideal vacation?
I like cultural vacations with loads of museums, walking around the city and experimenting the local food. My ideal vacation would have all that and half a day or a day to just sit in a coffee shop and chat or read the afternoon away. So wonderful and so good to disconnect from the stress and hectic schedule of daily life!
What do you love about yourself?
My hair! I hated it when I was 11-12 and it started changing so much from straight to… something. But now it settled for wavy, going straighter on warm days and curlier on cold days (don’t know why). I like how it changes a little bit from day to day.
What do wish you could change about yourself?
My anxiety. I get nervous very easily if a job isn’t done to perfection. Which, in real adult life, isn’t a very practical quality. But I will get there, fingers crossed!
What book are you reading now?
I’ve started What If by Randall Munroe. It’s basically a book answering crazy questions from readers in scientific and funny way, plus cartoon from xckd.
What keeps you blogging?
I love discussing books. When I read a book, my first thought is – I wonder what other people think about it? Did they like/dislike it too? Did they also find this part problematic/this character annoying/the writing fantastic/etc… and in my real life there are a few people who like discussing books as well, and we normally aren’t reading the same ones. So I really enjoy the opportunity of seeing like-minded people and what they thought of the books I’ve read/haven’t read yet… this community is really sweet and I enjoy very much being a part of it.
You are having a relaxing evening. What are you doing?
Reading for sure. Also watching videos, maybe a documentary, drink wine, play a boardgame, go for a walk, depends on how much time I have, how tired I am and on the weather.
Do you have pets?
Nooo… but I wish. A black (or any other color, really) cat is my dream pet.
Favourite pizza toppings?
Oh, I think for non-Brazilians this might be a little weird… but… palm, peas and catupiry cheese. On the more well-known toppings, I like mozzarella cheese, basil and mushrooms!
Coffee, tea or wine or other?
I can’t choose… depends on my mood. I guess I drink coffee more than tea or wine. A day without coffee is a wasted day.
What is your favourite season?
Early/mid Fall. When the weather is still mild from Summer, but cooled down a little so you can wear cardigans, have pumpkin soup, mulled wine and take nice walks.
What is your favourite book genre?
Hard to say. I guess contemporary fiction, but I am such a mood reader, that this could easily change to historical novels, sci-fi, fantasy, thrillers. The genre I read most is historical novels, but lately I have been really into sci-fi.
Who’s your favorite book Villain?
Umbridge, from Harry Potter. Not because I particularly love her, but I found her such a realistic villain, not with dreams of grandeur, but someone you could actually know.
What’s a must read book you would recommend for me?
Americanah, by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Wonderful writing, touching story.
What hair color would you like to have?
Blue!
What book character have you fallen in love with?
Rishi, from When Dimple met Rishi. He’s so sweet, mature and romantic.
My questions:
- Which book made you happy while reading it?
- What is your favorite thing to do for relaxing?
- What is your favorite season?
- What is something you love about yourself?
- What keeps you blogging?
- What is a song that makes you happy?
- What is your dream vacation?
- Which fictional character would you like to be friends with?
- What is a book you recommend for someone going on vacation?
- Coffee, tea or wine or other?
- Favorite pizza toppings?
I nominate:
Sorry if you’ve been nominated before!
Thank you again Noriko and Kawther! This was fun to answer 🙂
I reeeeaally enjoyed your answers! They are all so great 🙂 Thanks for mentioning me, you’re too sweet ❤ And I totally agree with you on being anxious to know what others think about the book you've just read. Don't you want to check or confirm the way you perceive the book is right or not? I do lol

Thank you so much! ❤❤ And yes, I totally need to check my impressions on a book after finishing it! One retains and understands so much more of the book by discussing it…

Yay; thank you for the nomination, haha!
I once had blue hair.. And then started looking like freaking zebra when it was washing off.
Bleached blond mixed with my regular dark brown. Seriously; it was baaaaad.

Oh no, that sounds awful! I don’t think I will dye my hair anyways I deal directly with clients in a conservative industry… but it’s fine, I will buy a wig one day 😀 I hope you have fun answering the tag!

I dye it once every two years or so, when I’m going to a festival. At least now I’ve learned my lesson and immediately dye it back to normal afterwards, haha.
I did! Thank you! ^-^
