The Sunday Snuggle W3/2018 #TheSundaySnuggle

Hello readers!

I am starting a new segment on my blog called The Sunday Snuggle! It’s a mixture of bookish stuff I saw around the blogosphere that I thought was very cool during the week, some books I finished, started etc, some bookish news… you get the drill! It’s a very relaxed post and I hope it works out well! I will be using the hashtag #TheSundaySnuggle to talk about it on Twitter, if you wanna join!

This post is a bit long, but you can definitely skip what doesn’t interest you and be sure my next posts will not be this long!

My Readings This Week

This week I went heavily on my ARCs from Netgalley, because I got accepted for 6 in a row and my feedback rate went below 80%… so I’m trying to get that badge back!

All Things Bright and Strange James Markert

I finished All Things Bright and Strange, by James Markert, which is a historical fiction mixed with magical realism and mystery! I got it via Netgalley, and it comes out on January 30, which is when my review will be posted. Spoiler alert: I liked it!

Our Dark Stars Audrey Grey Krystal Wade

After that I picked up this BEAUTY called Our Dark Stars, by Audrey Grey and Krystal Wade and was completely swept away by this phenomenal YA space adventure that stole my heart!

The New Dark Lorraine Thomson

After that I picked The New Dark, the first installments of a series called The Dark Times Trilogy, by Lorraine Thomson. And I battled through this book, giving it every chance, but I ended up deeply underwhelmed. Review to come in February (cause there’s so much I need to post in January still…).

Stillhouse Lake Rachel Caine

I started this book as an Audiobook and ebook, alternating as I go. I’m experimenting with Kindle Unlimited for a couple months to see if it’s worth getting it or not – I’ll let you guys know!

    • Yes, I think publishers have been putting extra effort into getting books beautiful covers, nowadays! It’s so bad for me, because I’m a cover-buyer hahahaha

    • In total it did take a while, but I basically wrote it every time I had something to update, like when I read a cool blog post or so… so I wrote a little every day, basically!
