This book came out on January 1st, but it might already be one of the coolest books of the entire year! The best thing? The sequel is already out! I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
The blurb about this book says that it’s a mixture of Jurassic Park and The Hunger Games. And it kind of is! Stormchaser decides to take part in the contests for going to Piloria, the land where dinosaurs live. Her own country is heavily overcrowded, and the people who pass the contest must survive for a whole week in Piloria. Not many people returned the years before. But Stormchaser is sure that this is her chance to change her life for better and to have an adventure.
Okay, so the dinosaurs don’t appear until half of the book (first there is world-building and the contest, which is really fun to read, too!), but after that… SO MANY DINOSAURS. I promise that, if you expect gore and action and carnivores, you won’t be disappointed. Stormchaser herself is a great character and I liked her better than the other main character, Lincoln. This was an amazing read and so much fun! I highly recommend it!
