Hello readers!
I love writing these Anti-TBR posts. Lately, my TBR has exploded and I have created a secondary TBR on Goodreads to keep track of the books I want to read but I don’t super want to read. It has now already over a hundred books *face palm*
So I like writing these posts to remind myself that it could be much worse if I didn’t have any self-control at all!

Red Queen, by Victoria Aveyard
This book sounds so… generic. Really. When I read YA, it’s mostly fantasy or sci-fi, which are always amazing and creative stories, but this one just didn’t get my attention at all. I heard pretty meh things about it.

We Were Liars, by E. Lockhart
This looks like such a summer read to me, I was actually interested in this book for a while! But not anymore… like I said, I’ve been shifting to new adult and adult books far more, so lots of popular YA books didn’t make it to my TBR. I love mystery novels, but I just get the feeling that this one isn’t for me.

My Sister’s Keeper, by Jodi Picoult
I accidentally spoiled the ending for this one! Otherwise, I’d probably read it, but now I know the big plot twist and lost interest altogether.

Red Rising, by Pierce Brown
This is actually a book I’m not entirely sure I’ll never read – but considering the amount of sci-fi books I want to read and amazing stuff coming out every year, I doubt I’ll ever get to it… but who knows? Maybe one day.

The Old Man and the Sea, by Ernest Hemingway
This book is definitely not for me. My boyfriend read it and enjoyed and said it’s not a book I’ll like at all. Since he’s 95% right about those things and the plot of this book sounds dreadfully boring, I’ll skip it.

Bonfire, by Krysten Ritter
I love thrillers! But… this one’s plot sounds just okay. I am naturally very skeptical about celebrities’ writing, and I haven’t heard great things about this one. Sounds a bit generic and, considering how many thrillers I read every year, I don’t want to get to one that doesn’t capture my attention. So I’ll skip it, but if one day I feel curious about it, I’m not discarding the possibility I might pick it up.
