The Sunday Snuggle Week 48 2018

(yes, that’s Dumbledore)

Hello readers!

Welcome to December!! My favorite month of the year, even after I moved to Germany and now Decembers are goddamn COLD. There’s Christmas, and my birthday, and vacation, and Silvester, and then my sister’s birthday just two days after the month is over. Also, in just a few weeks my favorite posts to read come around: best books of the year, new releases of 2019 people are looking forward to… always really nice posts to read. Can you tell I’m excited?

On Audible, I got:

My Sister, the Serial Killer oyinkan braithwaite

My Readings This Last Week

the paper wasp lauren acampora

I finished The Paper Wasp! What a ride. This was such a dark, twisted contemporary, I really, really enjoyed it! If you can say enjoy, that is… it’s quite disturbing. 4 stars!

the last command timothy zahn

I picked up The Last Command! I love this book series so much, they’re so much fun and the audiobooks are freaking fantastic. I liked this one a bit less than the other two, but it was still lots of fun to listen to! 3 stars!

the trials of morrigan crow jessica townsend

I read then The Trials of Morrigan Crow, which is a sweet, magical, whimsical middle grade fantasy! I think this is my second middle grade book this year, and I don’t remember liking the other one, so I was hesitant on picking up others… but this is just pure fun. I loved it!! 5 magical stars!

maybe in another life taylor jenkins reid

I listened to Maybe in Another Life this week! Can you tell I’m in love with Taylor Jenkins Reid’s books?? They’re so perfect for this time of my life. Her characters are on their late 20s, like me, in different stages in life. It’s so amazing. I love her books. This is such an interesting story where two parallel lives happen simultaneously – in one, Hannah stayed in a party talking to her ex and ended up re-starting their romance. In another, she went home with her friend Gabby and suffered an accident. 4 stars, this was so good!
