Hello readers!
I have a giveaway going on in Twitter! Here is the link if you wanna join, and it goes on until December 21, when I announce the 2 winners. I haven’t decided on the prize yet, but it will probably be a book from Book Depository.
I’m trying to read as many books published 2018 as possible, and publish the reviews before the year ends. I’m not participating on Blogmas, but I like the idea of posting a lot of reviews of books from this year still this year. There’s still many to go, but I know my TBR will be much longer this year once books get published next year.
This was accidentally helped by the fact that I got a bit ill this week and thus made shorter hours at work, and also went only once to the gym. Suddenly, I had lots more free time.
From Netgalley I received:

My Readings This Week
I finished The North Water! Honestly, this took way longer than it should have. I enjoyed this book in the end, it has such interesting elements of mystery and thriller and a bit of horror. The atmosphere is so bleak and cold – it’s really unique. I didn’t love it, though I’m glad I read it. 3 stars!
I finished Six Wakes! I loved this book so much, it’s an awesome space crime story. Really one of my favorites this year! 5 stars!
I read The Cruel Prince! I have NO idea what took me so much time to read this, it was awesome and I’m addicted. This gave me Pride and Prejudice and ACOTAR vibes, and I LOVED all the scheming. If you like a scheming, smart main character, you’re going to love Jude. I also loved the writing style of this! 4 stars to this jewel.
I started Guardian of the Auras! I’m excited to read this one, it sounds a bit dark and very interesting.
I then picked up I’ll Be Gone in the Dark as an audiobook! This was eerie to listen to, the murderer is so absolutely evil, and my heart broke for the victims. This was definitely a remarkable read! 4 stars!
I also started with The Pharaoh’s Daughter. I got it from Netgalley thinking it was a historical fiction on the Egypt in the time of Pharaohs, but this is in fact a biblical fiction. Still historical, I suppose.
I also read Fruit of the Drunken Tree! I was so excited to read this after listening to the podcast Reading Women, and hearing it compared to Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This was a beautiful read and also quite painful at times. 4 stars!
I DNF-ed:
Thanks for the nod. I’m glad you enjoyed the Extravaganza

GRRM has promised to finish the series? Well, if I learned anything from his books, then it is that people will promise many things to buy themselves some time 😉
